Next week, we are going to be taking a class field trip to the Indianapolis Zoo. This trip will give students a better visual on how the food chain works. They will get to see all of the different types of animals that we have been discussing in class. Paired with parents chaperons, students will complete worksheets about the different animals that they see. The worksheet will sort of work like a scavenger hunt, in that groups will be racing to complete the worksheet first. The zoo also has other activities for schools on field trips such as tours, petting/feeding animals, and the dolphin show.
